Monster Energy Nutrition Facts

Monster Energy is the name for one of the most famous energy drinks on the market. People who are running out of energy can take this familiar black can with flavor-specific colored claw marks and receive the promised “twice the buzz of a regular energy drink”. For some it is enough to know it works, while others won’t feel safe until they learn everything about its ingredients and nutrition. For the latter we provide here the list of Monster Energy drink nutrition facts.

  1. The base ingredients for all Monster Energy drinks are carbonated water, sweeteners, preservatives, flavorings and vitamins. To the common sweeteners belong glucose (the best fuel for the body), sucrose and sucralose (an artificial sweetener). Under flavoring and preservatives we mean different natural flavors, sodium chloride, ascorbic acid and colors. Each separate drink also includes different elements that help to create the specific recipe for it.
  2. There are 6 different types of Monster Energy drinks. The most common one is the usual beverage. The Monster Lo-Cab differs from it by a reduced amount of sugar used while the Monster Assault is used to double the energy capabilities. Other 3 types include some specific ingredients such as fruit juice (The Monster Khaos), tropical juices (Monster M-80) and coffee and milk (Monster Java).
  3. The typical 8-ounce serving of the beverage supplies you with about 100 calories. To such typical belong Monster Assault and XXL. The lower amount of calories – only 90 – is supplied from M-80, while Monster Lo-Cab provides you with as little as 10 calories due to reduced amount of carbohydrates.
  4. 100 percent of calories in the drinks are provided by carbohydrates and sugars. So, while most types contain 27 g of both carbohydrates and sugars per serving,  Monster Lo-Cab reduces the amount of sugars to only 3 g per serving due to use of artificial sweeteners.
  5. The energy we get from the beverage comes from a blend of vitamins and caffeine. A typical Monster Energy drink contains such vitamins as niacin, riboflavin, vitamin B-6, vitamin B-12 and vitamin C. Very often panax-ginseng is also added for energy.

All these Monster Energy nutrition facts are stated on the side of each can, so it’s easy for you to count not only the calories got, but any other needed information as well.
